Our upholstery cleaning service is available in: Peterborough, Yaxley, Crowland, Market Deeping, Eye, Eye Green, Wansford, Huntingdon, St Neots, Oundle, Whittlesey, Thorney, Stilton, Sawtry, Wittering, Stamford, Spalding, Deeping St James, and Water Newton.
Do you charge per hour or per job?
Per Job.
Can you clean my upholstery when I am at work?
Yes, not a problem. You can leave a set of keys with your neighbour, or letting/estate agent. The only thing we ask is that you provide the contact details where we have to pick up the keys from including a name and a telephone number. We'll collect the keys, get the job done and then return the keys to the initial collection address or post them back through the letter box.
Please note that we may charge you £10.00 if keys have to be picked up from a different postcode. This is due to the amount of time and travel to get there.
We insist that you are present at the time of completion so you can inspect the results and pay any outstanding balances to the upholstery cleaner.
Who provides the cleaning materials and equipment?
Cleaner & Clearer upholstery cleaners will bring all the necessary chemicals and equipment needed. The only thing we ask to be provided is access to your property, water and electricity.
How long will it take my upholstery to dry out after the service?
In Normal circumstances your upholstery will be dry in about 3-4 hours after completion of our cleaning service.
However, in a few cases where extensive treatment is needed due to a heavily stained fabric. The drying process may take longer than 3-4 hours.
What happens if I am dissatisfied with the cleaning service?
In the unlikely event that you are dissatisfied with the upholstery cleaning services Cleaner & Clearer will re-do the job free of charge.
Our customer service team will call you with feedback after the work has been carried out. We require feedback as soon as any problems occur and no later than 24 hours after the initial clean.
Are there any extra charges I have to pay e.g. parking?
In some rare cases you may have to pay a parking fee where there is a resident parking scheme in effect.
If our upholstery cleaning contractors can't park their vehicle free of charge when servicing your address you will have to either provide a parking space or provide a valid temporary parking permit. If you can't arrange either of the above items then you will have to reimburse the upholstery cleaners with the parking fee they have paid in order to clean your upholstery.
How soon can you send an upholstery cleaner to my place?
It is our aim to book your upholstery cleaning within the next 3 to 5 days. In some cases we may have earlier availabilities or in busy periods we may be able to send an upholstery cleaner in a week's time. Please let us know your best dates and we will present you with the closest time slots available.
I have a leather sofa/armchair. Do you clean those?
Yes we do.
What methods of upholstery cleaning do you use?
We use the hot water extraction method as used when cleaning carpets. We believe that this is the best and most efficient upholstery cleaning method used by any cleaning company.
Do you do dry upholstery cleaning?
Unfortunately we don't currently provide dry upholstery cleaning due to the following reasons:
1. Dry powder extraction has no ability to flush soil and dust mites trapped at the base of the fibers. 2. Some contractors have found a discoloration imparted to the fiber after repeated cleaning with this process. 3. The process is extremely slow and speed is of the essence to Cleaner & Clearer. 4. Nearly every fabric manufacturer requests annual hot water extraction that we know of.
What methods of payment do you accept?
We take cash, cheque, credit/debit cards as payment. Note: £20 deposit is normally required before one of our operatives visits your home. When paying by credit/debit card, PayPal makes paying your upholstery cleaning easy. After registering your debit or credit card details, members can instantly and securely send money. Its safe, free and easy to use and only takes a few minutes to sign up.
Is there a minimum charge?

Yes we do. Cleaner & Clearer offer you our promise that if you are not satisfied with the result from a job, then we will continue to clean or we will come back and re-do the clean absolutely free of charge.
