Spring Cleaning Tips – For Use In The Kitchen

Spring Cleaning Tips

The words “spring cleaning” can make the neatest person cringe. They mean a lot more work. As if cleaning throughout the year was not enough. Spring cleaning is more than simply cleaning…it is deep cleaning. Something which the majority of folks don’t have enough time for throughout the year. Since my expertise is carpet, window and oven cleaning, I’ve made the decision to pay attention to spring cleaning and dirt build up prevention tips for the kitchen….

— Baking soda or club soda will certainly clean and shine stainless steel sinks easily. Apply straight to surface and scrub a dub dub.

— To get rid of persistent water spots from your stainless kitchen sink clean with a cloth dampened along with rubbing alcohol or vinegar.

— To freshen up your “white” porcelain sinks, place paper towels across the bottom part of your sink and cover with bleach. Allow sit over night and rinse out.

— After you’ve cleaned your fridge and freezer place an open box of baking soda in the back of each to help soak up odours for approximately 30 days.

— Several drops vanilla extract on a bit of cotton positioned in the refrigerator may also help eliminating odours.

— Wipe refrigerator with vinegar after cleaning to help you reduce mildew and mold.

— Change your fridge light bulbs…that way you never need to bother about them burning up out during the year.

— To completely clean baked-on foodstuff from a cooking pan, place a dryer sheet in the pan, fill with water, allow sit overnight and then sponge clean. The anti-static agents help weaken the bond between the food and the pan and the fabric softeners will soften the baked-on food.

— To clean burned or scorched pots and pans, sprinkle pans liberally with baking soda, adding adequate amounts of water to soften. Allow to stand over night.

— To get those stubborn stains off of the inside of you microwave; spray gently with two parts water and one part bleach (be careful), then simply heat on high for 20 seconds and let it stand for about an hour. The stains in essence should come right off. For really stubborn stains heat for 30 seconds and let sit for 2 – 3 hours.
