What does it cost to have my windows cleaned by Cleaner & Clearer?
Windows come in all different shapes, styles and sizes, so this question can only be answered with an estimate in person either via phone, email, or at your home or business.
What type of window cleaning service do you provide?
We use the latest in water fed pole technology to professionally and efficiently clean windows to a very high standard. We can use the old traditional Window Cleaning art of using Squeegees and Rubbers, though, we feel this is not necessary.
What is a water fed pole?
When pure water is used by Cleaner & Clearer for window cleaning, the impurities on your glass are held in the water, as the pure water strives to return to its impure state. Your glass is then given a final rinse with the water fed poles to leave the glass totally sterile.
Cleaner & Clearer use water fed poles that produce a high level of Pure water : from 1 to 30 ppm after the reverse osmosis purification stage (depending of the hardness of your water), and 0 ppm after the final stage which is the Deioniser. Pure water (0 ppm) leaves your window neat and clean. With spot free water, your windows dry spotless without the need of wiping the contaminates off.
No detergent residue means that windows do not get dirty so quickly, your windows inevitably stay cleaner…longer.
We can use the older traditional method, but feel this is not needed anymore.
Why don’t you dry the windows?
Because we use 100% pure water to clean, the windows dry spotless.
Do you clean frames and ledges?
When we use the pure water fed poles we clean all the window, including frames and ledges.
What if it rains?
Should the skies open up on the day we are scheduled to work at your house, we will still want to come. A light drizzle doesn’t really affect the job. However, if it is raining hard enough to hit the windows our efforts to provide the best in window cleaning may well be compromised. Another consideration is the safety of our crew. On rainy days, a wet wood deck or cedar roof becomes very slippery, consequently, Cleaner & Clearer may reschedule to another day at your convenience.
How often should I have my windows cleaned?
Did you know that in the UK, freshly cleaned windows will develop a dirty haze from blowing dirt and pollution in only one to three months. Many UK business owners with storefront windows schedule weekly cleaning to combat this haze. Cleaner & Clearer customers have their windows cleaned fortnightly, monthly, quarterly, bi-yearly (Spring and Autumn), Many add on cleaning for special occasions like Christmas, or a wedding. It is advisable to have your windows cleaned regularly, say fortnightly. Most people have their windows cleaned this regularly so that dirt and grime doesn’t build up.
How do you clean leaded glass?
Leaded glass is cleaned in the same when using our water fed pole. With traditional cleaning we would use the traditional methods. In the past we cleaned very small French styled windows or leaded glass using only water with a little vinegar. Recently we have discovered a solution which not only leaves the windows streak-free, but it also puts a protective coating onto the glass which keeps the windows cleaner for much longer.
These small panes of glass are cleaned with a scrim cloth (looks like cheesecloth), a lint-free micro fibre cloth or chamois.
Do You conform to the latest health and safety laws?
We have got the latest window cleaning equipment in UK. The Water fed pole system eliminates the need for ladder ties so our work is 100% satisfied to the Health and Safety legislation in UK.
